Eco Friendly Hobby

One Monk Miniatures encourages the recycling of paper scraps created from paper modeling. Because paper comes from a renewable resource and can easily be recycled, paper modeling is one of the most eco-friendly hobbies you can have.

Are we going green? No. We've always been that way.

Protect the planet by converting to paper miniatures, an inexpensive, and more environmentally conscientious alternative to traditional metal and plastic figures.

Brought to you in part of the up coming Arbor Day on April 29th. Please enjoy our small contribution to raise awareness.

Salt Con 2011

One Monk Miniatures will be promoting paper craft modeling at Salt Con Feb 18-19. This is an annual board game convention held in Salt Lake City, Utah. We hope to not only show off our own paper miniatures, but also some of the great work which has been created by members of the forum. Unfortunately we can't show everything, but the featured items will include:

Dave Graffam Models,
Mech Attack! from Armor Grid Games,
A whole slew of paper minis from onemonk.com,
And demos of Bellicose Fantasy Battles

If you can make it to the con we would love to have you there. If not, there is always next year. We like to use the convention to drive traffic to the website, and to promote paper modeling, and affordable gaming.

Forum Hoard 88

Merry Christmas everyone! Just in case you are too sickened by all the holiday cheer, we have just the thing. Introducing the Forum Hoard Holiday collection: Christmas with an un-merry twist! This is the 88th Forum Hoard and it is a dandy. Gifts with their own surprise fangs, a whole gingerbread man army, goblins masquerading as Santa's helpers, Frosty the Snowman's evil twin, Christmas trees that are fighting back, a giant robot that's ready to 'play', and a Santa who would rather take the children then give them toys. Ahhh, Christmas the way I always remembered...

Thanks to everyone who contributed and a special thank you to Sirrob01 for compiling this truly unique collection. Be sure to pick it up FREE on the Onemonk website.
